چکیده
Abstract This study was performed to assess the possible relationship between gastrointestinal strongylid infections and milk quantity quality in donkeys used for production. Individual fecal samples were collected from 16 multiparous lactating jennies of Amiatina breed at their 6th month lactation. Statistical analysis carried out eggs per gram faeces (EPG) parameters. All animals found shed cyathostomin eggs, with EPG ranging 150 1900. A higher production observed showing an EPG< 250, but this result statistically not significant. Conversely, significant concentrations urea pH values, lower lactose, >1000. In conclusion, results suggest that values > 1000 may affect dairy donkeys. Considering novelty these findings, more data needs be determine thresholds as a good marker parasite influencing performance

Gastrointestinal parasites are one of the main sources of economic decline in sheep production around the world. Resistant sheep do not completely reject the disease; they only harbor fewer parasites than susceptible sheep and therefore have a lower fecal egg count. The present research was designed to evaluate microsatellite polymorphism in intron 5 of DRB2 gene and its correlation with H. con...
